Nader Lab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia focuses on elucidating how the cell nucleus affects cell function and the consequences of varying degrees of nuclear deformation observed in health and disease. The lab is currently characterizing nuclear mechanosensing pathways that orchestrate cell behavior, function, and the fate of the nucleus when subjected to physical stress. Research includes studying how dense tumor microenvironments modulate the function of cancer and immune cells.
