Biography

I am a biostatistician with a passion for making a difference in global health. I have a Master of Biostatistics following a PhD, as well as being an Accredited Graduate Statistician (GStat) by the Statistical Society of Australia (SSA). I provide statistical support and advice to the design, analysis and publication of clinical and translational research conducted in Bangladesh, Malawi and Indigenous communities. My research interests span clinical trials, health research, and work in developing nations. Recognising the importance of research data governance, I also actively engage in roles that help me to promote responsible research practices. I am involved in several outreach opportunities including conference organising committees and tutoring alongside also being an active member of various statistical interest groups outside my main role, which allows me to both share my knowledge and gain insights from fellow members of the statistics community.
