Calvin Ho is an Associate Professor at Monash Law School and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Medical Ethics and Law at the University of Hong Kong. He has practiced law in London and Singapore, where he worked with prestigious firms and served as an Assistant Director of the Legal Aid Bureau. His research interests focus on global health law and ethics, particularly in the realm of emerging health technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and data analytics. Calvin is involved with the World Health Organization as co-chair of an expert group on the Ethics of Social Listening and Infodemic Management. He has been an editorial board member for several journals and authored key texts on bioethics. In addition to his academic roles, he has collaborated with various health organizations to navigate ethical implications in public health, contributing to global efforts on Sustainable Development Goals. His current research projects address the regulation of medical devices and the ethical aspects of public health responses during health crises.
