Sabrina Syan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. She is a member of the Peter Boris Centre for Addictions Research. Her research interests focus on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms underlying addiction and associated behavioral outcomes. Syan's work investigates the interactions between various neurotransmitter systems and how they influence addiction-related behaviors and mental health conditions. She aims to contribute to the development of more effective therapeutic interventions for individuals affected by substance use disorders.
