Otto Yung has 25 years of experience spanning various sectors including financial services, higher education, telecommunications, hydro-utility, manufacturing, and municipal services. He has led multimillion-dollar programs and initiatives in corporate finance, operations, risk management, capital planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Notable highlights of his career include working at a startup company that was venture capital funded, which ranked #1 on PROFIT magazine's 'Hot 50' list. Prior to that, Otto conducted due diligence activities for companies like BRACK Systems, co-founded by Robert Herjavec, a prominent investor on Shark Tank. He was also involved in the blueprint design for the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services, which led to a formal announcement by the Federal Minister of Finance. Additionally, he coordinated initiatives with the Toronto Financial Services Alliance, a public-private partnership engaging various levels of government, the financial services sector, academia, and professional associations. Otto is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA), and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
