Pradeep K. Chintagunta is the Joseph T. Bernice S. Lewis Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, focusing on empirical studies of consumer and firm behavior. His research primarily explores packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, and technology markets, with an emphasis on how pricing and advertising impact distribution channels. Chintagunta has a keen interest in 'development marketing', analyzing how marketing can aid economic development and improve health outcomes in emerging economies.
