Biography

Girish H. Subramanian has been with Penn State Harrisburg since 1991, beginning as an assistant professor of information systems. He previously taught at Villanova University. Subramanian has a background as a systems engineer and completed his Ph.D. at Temple University. His professional experience includes conducting executive development training programs in Information Systems, showcasing his deep expertise in the field. Subramanian's research primarily focuses on software engineering, international software development, systems integration, and the management of information systems. He has been a member of the Decision Sciences Institute, engaging actively in professional affiliations that enhance his contributions to academia and industry. Through his career, he has developed a robust understanding of CASE tools and their application in information systems management.
