Biography

Jean Pierre Dubé is the James M. Kilts Distinguished Service Professor of Marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is the director of the Kilts Center for Marketing and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Dubé's work focuses on the intersection of industrial organization and quantitative marketing, exploring empirical studies on consumer preferences towards branded goods, price discrimination, advertising, and nutrition policies. His teaching and research involve applying marketing models to develop practical pricing strategies. He has recently collaborated with companies in China and his research has been published in prestigious journals including the American Economic Review and Marketing Science. Dubé has received multiple awards for his teaching and research contributions, including the Hillel J. Einhorn Excellence in Teaching Award and has served as an area/associate editor for several journals in marketing.
