Dipesh Chaudhury is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at New York University Abu Dhabi. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of London, School of Pharmacy, and a PhD from the Open University, where he conducted research under the supervision of Prof. Steven Rose. His academic journey includes post-doctoral positions at renowned institutions such as the University of California, Los Angeles, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Marseille, Cornell University, and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Since joining NYU Abu Dhabi in Spring 2015, he has focused his research on understanding the pathophysiological changes in neural circuit functions that lead to mood disorders and memory loss. He is dedicated to delivering a world-class education while engaging students in cutting-edge research.
