Biography

Rebecca N. Wright is the Druckenmiller Professor of Computer Science at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she serves as Faculty Director of the Vagelos Computational Science Center and is an affiliate of the Data Science Institute. She co-chairs the Cybersecurity Research Center at the Data Science Institute and is actively engaged in various committees and boards, including the Steering Committee for the ACM Conference on Computer Communications Security and the Board of Directors for the Computing Research Association's Committee on Widening Participation in Computing Research. Wright has supervised multiple PhD candidates and has contributed significantly to the understanding of applied cryptography and network security. Her research interests encompass a variety of topics in computer science, particularly focusing on cybersecurity and data science applications.
