Dr. Changhuei Yang

Biography

Professor Changhuei Yang specializes in the field of biophotonics, focusing on the use of light for imaging and extracting information from biological targets. His research encompasses chip-scale microscopy, time-reversal based optical imaging, and optical phase conjugation, making significant contributions to the understanding of imaging biological systems. With a Ph.D. in 2001 and extensive teaching and research experience at the California Institute of Technology, his work continues to push the boundaries of how we visualize and interpret biological phenomena using advanced optical techniques. Yang has held various positions at Caltech, evolving from Assistant Professor to Professor and currently serves as the Myers Professor. His academic background includes multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, further solidifying his expertise in Electrical Engineering and related fields.
