Dr. Yijia Guo

Biography

Dr. Guo’s research focuses on organizational intercultural communication in business, with particular interest in specialized identity development, strategic negotiation, and international organizational contexts. Her research has appeared in top-tier journals, examining topics such as organizational culture, conflict management, emotion management, and the use of communication technology in business settings, including mobile communications. Additionally, Dr. Guo has pedagogical expertise in organizational communication, strategies in business, leadership communication, business professional communication, non-western culture, and persuasion. Before her academic career, she held positions as a program event coordinator at multinational companies in both China and the U.S., where she specialized in intercultural business communication.
