Valérie Grandbois is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Sherbrooke University. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the School of Management at Sherbrooke University. Her academic journey has included substantial contributions to the fields of scientific entrepreneurship, technological entrepreneurship, startup culture, and innovation support practices. Grandbois has received recognition for her academic excellence, including the award for the best thesis in 2014-2015. Her research focuses on the dynamics of entrepreneurship ecosystems and the unique profiles of scientific entrepreneurs. Valérie's work has been instrumental in investigating how agri-food accelerators can foster synergy and collaboration among agricultural entrepreneurs in specific territories. With multiple grants and contributions to interdisciplinary innovation frameworks such as the Technum/Bromont innovation zone, her work emphasizes responsible innovation and the socio-ecological transitions in entrepreneurship.
