Prior to joining Penn State Harrisburg, Kevin Pyon was a Ph.D. candidate in English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His academic focus is on American literature, examining the intersection of race and ethnic studies, as well as the historical and cultural contexts surrounding these works. Through his research, he explores themes within African American literature, engaging deeply with its connections to history, religion, and culture.
