Elisa Rubbo is an economist interested in macroeconomics and international trade. Her research focuses on how macroeconomic variables affect industries and labor markets. Rubbo earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. She also holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Allievi program at Collegio Carlo Alberto and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Torino. Prior to joining the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2022, Rubbo held Postdoctoral Associate positions in the Department of Economics at Princeton University and at the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago.
