Nirod Das is an Associate Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He specializes in the fields of Unified Theory, Electromagnetics, Antennas, and RF/Microwave Circuits. With a strong academic background, he earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in 1989, a Master of Science degree from the same institution in 1987, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in 1985. His research interests primarily focus on advancing technology in antennas and microwave engineering, alongside exploring the implications and applications of unified theories in electromagnetics. Nirod is also actively involved in creating economic impact through research, emphasizing technology transfer and faculty entrepreneurship.
