Christopher Wolfe is a Professor Emeritus at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, where he focused on accounting, specifically in the areas of auditor judgment and decision making. He retired in 2021 after a distinguished career that included teaching a graduate course on accounting information systems that emphasized analytics. His research has been published in several prestigious scholarly journals, including the Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. Additionally, he has contributed to the Behavioral Research in Accounting and the Journal of Management Information Systems. Wolfe has also held leadership positions within the academic community, serving as past president of the American Accounting Association’s Information Systems Section and as past vice-president for finance of the same organization.
