Christopher Fang-Yen is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University. His laboratory focuses on using the roundworm Caenorhabditis elegans to investigate questions in neurobiology, behavior, and aging. Employing a multidisciplinary approach, the lab integrates tools from biology, physics, engineering, and computation to advance understanding of complex biological systems. He seeks to mentor outstanding undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers interested in these areas, offering a collaborative research environment aimed at pushing the boundaries of what is known in these fields.
