Michele M Kim, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She has developed significant expertise in therapeutic medical physics, focusing on small animal photon and proton studies, as well as advancements in proton and photon radiation techniques. Her research contributions have paved the way for innovative approaches in the clinical application of radiation therapy. Dr. Kim completed her Bachelor's degree in Physics and Biophysics, followed by a Master's degree in Physics, and obtained her Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Pennsylvania. With a strong foundation in medical physics, her work emphasizes the integration of cutting-edge techniques in radiation oncology, ensuring improved patient outcomes and specialized care in radiation treatments.
