Biography

The ICCB-Longwood Screening Facility is a high-throughput screening laboratory that focuses on small molecule functional genomics. It is equipped with modular workstations where assays are performed in 384-well plates. The facility offers a continuously growing collection of 500,000 small molecules available for screening, as well as whole human and mouse genome siRNA libraries, arrayed sgRNA libraries, lncRNA siRNA libraries, and miRNA mimic inhibitor libraries. These libraries can be screened at the genome level, focusing on specific subsets tailored to the needs of researchers. The ICCB-Longwood Screening Facility operates with the understanding that researchers utilizing its services should acknowledge the facility in any resulting publications, particularly when an ICCB-L member has made significant intellectual contributions. The facility supports academic collaborations and emphasizes the importance of appropriate grant citations for projects directly benefitting from its services.
