Biography

Janet Mei is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her MD at Peking University Health Science Center in 2015 and subsequently obtained her Master's in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health in 2016. Dr. Mei further advanced her expertise through a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center, which she completed in 2021, followed by a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2023. She is board-certified in both Neuroradiology and Diagnostic Radiology as per the American Board of Radiology certifications achieved in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Dr. Mei's research interests lie in the applications of radiology in medical diagnostics, particularly focusing on advancing imaging techniques and methodologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy. Through her academic role, she contributes to the education and training of future radiologists, emphasizing the importance of rigorous scientific inquiry and clinical excellence in the practice of medicine.
