Biography

Kelly Suzanne Myers is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She specializes in breast imaging and has a profound focus on improving breast cancer detection through the investigation of new technologies and optimizing existing ones. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2003, she attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she was funded by the Doris Duke Research Fellowship for an additional research year. She completed her Radiology residency at Johns Hopkins and gained specialized training through a breast imaging fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, joining their staff before returning to Johns Hopkins. Dr. Myers' dedication to education is evident in her commitment to teaching residents and creating educational resources. Her research work has resulted in several high-impact publications, contributing to the field of breast imaging and enhancing patient management strategies. She is an active member of professional organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Breast Imaging.
