Sara Daniel Shaylor is a breast imaging radiologist at Sibley Memorial Hospital, where she interprets mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs, in addition to performing minimally invasive breast procedures. She specializes in breast imaging with a strong clinical interest in breast MRI screening for high-risk patients. Dr. Shaylor earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed her residency in radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She furthered her training with a fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Before joining Sibley Memorial Hospital in 2015, Dr. Shaylor served as an assistant professor of radiology at New York University School of Medicine, where she contributed to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. She is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging and the American Roentgen Ray Society, and has conducted clinical research as well as lectured nationally and internationally on breast imaging topics. Dr. Shaylor has contributed to numerous publications and serves as an invited reviewer for the European Journal of Radiology.
