Veronica Thronson is a Clinical Professor of Law and the Director of the Immigration Law Clinic at Michigan State University College of Law. She teaches courses including Domestic Violence Law and Family Law. Thronson has extensive experience in family and immigration law, having served as a Directing Attorney for the Domestic Violence Project at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. She has previously held a visiting professor position at Penn State Law and is involved with the National Judicial College as a faculty member. Throughout her career, she has conducted training programs for attorneys and judges, focusing on immigration law and community outreach. Thronson is also a Vice-Chair of the National Immigrant Women's Advocacy Project and has received numerous accolades for her contributions to the field of law, including the Champion of Justice Award from the State Bar of Michigan. Her engagement with various professional organizations and committees underscores her commitment to advocating for immigrants and victims of domestic violence.
