Dr. Anju Toor

Biography

Anju Toor is an Assistant Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. She specializes in advanced energy materials, printed electronics, energy storage systems, and nanoparticle self-assembly. Dr. Toor earned her M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research has significantly contributed to the development of flexible and stretchable batteries for next-generation Augmented/Virtual Reality applications, working with Meta Reality Labs. She was recognized as an EECS Rising Star and selected for the Rising Stars Women Engineering Workshop in Asia, highlighting her contributions to the field. To date, she has published over 20 research publications across renowned platforms, focusing on self-assembly techniques and the synthesis of energy materials. Dr. Toor is also involved in various research activities including the processing, fabrication, and manufacturing of electronic components.
