Dr. Mohammad Quddus is a Professor of Pathology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, specializing in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh, and completed his M. Phil in Pathology at the Institute of Post Graduate Medicine & Research, also at Dhaka University. Dr. Quddus furthered his expertise through a residency in pathology at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, New York, under Columbia University. He has been a recipient of the Sutart Lauchlan Fellowship in Gynecologic Breast Pathology at Women & Infants Hospital, Rhode Island, affiliated with Brown University. His research interests encompass Uterine cancer, Ovarian cancer, and the analysis of atypical squamous metaplastic cells in Pap smears. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field, notably receiving the inaugural W. Dwanyne Lawrence Award for Diagnostic Excellence in 2019 and serving as an exemplary reviewer for the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology in 2017.
