Holger Spamann is the Lawrence R. Grove Professor at Harvard Law School, where he teaches courses in corporate law and corporate finance. His research interests lie primarily in the intersection of law and economics, particularly in fields such as corporate governance, financial markets, judicial behavior, and comparative law. Prior to embarking on his academic career, Spamann practiced law at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York and clerked for several years in Europe. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University, as well as a S.J.D. in law from Harvard Law School. Additionally, he has completed several degrees in economics and law from prestigious institutions, including the London School of Economics and the University of Hamburg. Spamann is a member of the New York bar and is also qualified to practice law in Germany.
