Biography

Jeremiah Heller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Illinois University. His research interests lie in homotopy theory and algebraic geometry, with a particular focus on the applications of homotopy theory, including classical, equivariant, and motivic aspects. He studies algebraic cycles and contributes to the field of algebraic K-theory. Dr. Heller received his PhD from Northwestern University in 2006, and has been instrumental in advancing the understanding of fundamental concepts in both algebra and geometry through his research and publications.
