Saeed Samet is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa (2010) and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from McMaster University (2005), as well as an earlier Master’s degree from Tehran University (2003). His research interests focus on Health Informatics, mobile health (mHealth), cryptography, network security, secure multi-party computation, and secret sharing. Dr. Samet has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications, addressing critical issues in secure health data management and statistical analysis. His work includes innovative algorithms for feature selection and methods for secure health data communication, reflecting a strong commitment to integrating information technology with healthcare solutions. Additionally, he has been involved in projects aimed at enhancing privacy and security in health records, participating in key conferences and symposiums.
