Biography

Laura Goldberg is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She graduated from the New England College of Optometry and completed her residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Goldberg's research is focused on innovative treatments for dry eye syndrome and corneal conditions, with a special interest in myopia management. She actively engages in clinical research and strives to improve patient care through advanced therapeutic options. Her recent work includes lectures and articles highlighting the importance of myopia control. Additionally, she is well-recognized in her field, being awarded Young Optometrist of the Year by the Maryland Optometric Association in 2023, and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
