Biography

Ashley H. Anderson is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law and Associate Research Scholar at Yale Law School. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School (2016), an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin (2007), and a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy (2006). Before her current role, Ashley served as the Lyon Chair of Professional Ethics at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, where she taught ethics and philosophy courses to cadets. She has also worked as an associate at Williams & Connolly, LLP, and clerked for Judge Diane P. Wood of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Her legal experience includes internships focused on Veterans Legal Services, where she represented veterans in discharge upgrade proceedings and federal litigation, developed case strategies, and lobbied legislators for veterans’ rights. Prior to law school, Ashley served seven years on active duty as an intelligence officer in the Air Force, leading intelligence teams in Iraq and Kuwait and functioning as an instructor and executive officer in philosophy.
