Dong-Hyun Kim's research focuses on therapeutic carriers and treatment types for cancer, utilizing micro and nanoparticles as hybrid derivatives to aid in drug delivery, hyperthermia, cell therapy, and immunotherapy. He investigates molecular imaging agents for MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluorescent imaging. Currently, he collaborates closely with clinicians, medical scientists, and biologists to translate new cancer therapeutic approaches using multifunctional carriers in diagnostic imaging techniques within clinical settings. His work emphasizes improving patient care and advancing scientific breakthroughs in cancer treatment.
