Biography

Harold Wareham is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He holds a B.Sc.(Hons.) and B.A. from Memorial University, and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Victoria. His primary research interests include complexity theory, design and analysis of algorithms, combinatorial optimization, approximation algorithms and heuristics, cognitive science, computational biology, and theoretical computer science. With a strong academic background, Professor Wareham has contributed significantly to his fields of study, publishing numerous research papers and guiding graduate students through complex computational topics. He is committed to advancing knowledge in computer science and fostering a collaborative learning environment in his department.
