Biography

Michelle Rodrigue is a Full Professor at Université Laval in the School of Accounting. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Concordia University and an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke. With a robust academic pedigree, she specializes in sustainability management, environmental management, and sustainable development policy. Her research interests also encompass social structures and environmental education, focusing on integrating sustainability into accounting practices. Rodrigue has contributed to numerous academic conferences and is an active member of several professional associations. Her dedication to mentoring emerging scholars demonstrates her commitment to the development of the next generation of accounting professionals. Known for her editorial work, Michelle serves on several journal editorial boards, including the European Accounting Review and Critical Perspectives in Accounting. She has garnered various awards throughout her career, including the Governor General’s Academic Medal and the Doctoral Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
