Biography

Camille Rothkop is an MSc student specializing in Biology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Her research focuses on soil microbial communities and their dynamics in relation to wildfire burn severity, exploring how these communities recover post-wildfire and their role in forest soil ecosystems. Engaging in in-depth studies, Camille works under the supervision of Dr. Miranda Hart, leveraging her background in microbiology to investigate the complex interactions within soil ecosystems.
