Amy Eppler-Epstein is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer at Yale Law School. She focuses on various areas of law including housing law, family law, domestic violence, immigration, and re-entry work. She has experience argued cases before the Connecticut Supreme Court to establish the right to shelter under the state constitution. Her advocacy has had nationwide impacts, particularly in protecting the rights of tenants post-foreclosure. Throughout her career, she won a $2.845 million judgment in fair housing litigation in federal court, created a coalition aimed at reforming Connecticut's sex offender registration laws, and developed a pro se DACA clinic to assist immigrant youth. Additionally, she has innovated legal services delivery through a school-based clinic model and has litigated to protect licensed home daycare providers from eviction.
