Robert W. Gordon is the Chancellor Kent Professor Emeritus at Yale Law School, specializing in law and legal history. He has taught various subjects including contracts, American legal history, evidence, legal profession, and globalization of law. Professor Gordon has a distinguished academic background, having earned his A.B. and J.D. from Harvard University and Harvard Law School respectively. Before joining Yale, he served on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin and Stanford University. He continues to educate students in the fall term as a Professorial Lecturer in Law.
