Biography

Christine Y. Kim is a Visiting Critic at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. She previously served as an Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), where she organized notable exhibitions including 'Diana Thater: Sympathetic Imagination' and 'James Turrell: Retrospective'. Kim co-founded the Los Angeles Nomadic Division, a non-profit organization focused on public art, in 2009. Prior to her role at LACMA, she was an Associate Curator at the Studio Museum in Harlem from 2000 to 2008, where she organized impactful exhibitions such as 'Kehinde Wiley, World Stage: Africa Lagos-Dakar' and 'Black Belt'. Kim has gained recognition in the art community for her contributions to contemporary art exhibitions and collaborations.
