Biography

The Vrajitoarea Lab at New York University focuses on the central challenges of modern quantum science, primarily aimed at manipulating and understanding the behavior of strongly correlated matter. Utilizing analog quantum simulators, the lab aims to recreate physics interests in pristine quantum machines composed of interacting particles, dynamically tuning parameters to probe microscopic properties effectively. The research explores the interface of condensed matter, quantum information, and quantum optics by constructing synthetic quantum materials made of strongly interacting microwave photons through an experimental toolbox of superconducting quantum circuits. The Vrajitoarea Lab harnesses coherent quantum control and the flexibility of superconducting circuits to explore many-body phenomena and novel states of matter, aiming to assemble entangled many-body states for quantum information processing while leveraging the complex dynamics of interacting quantum systems to accelerate tasks in neuromorphic computing.
