Biography

Teresa Lincicum is a Clinical Instructor II at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Nursing, with over 18 years of experience as a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Science degree in Gerontology from the University of South Alabama (2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Edgewood College (2000). Teresa maintains a clinical practice at UW Hospital in the Cardiovascular Medicine department while actively teaching in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Her work emphasizes health systems policy and education, involvement as an invited speaker at the Wisconsin Chapter ACC Annual Symposium, and participation in developing the Inpatient APP Collaborative Program. Teresa has led multiple initiatives, including the cardiovascular risk reduction clinic, medical weight loss clinic, TAVR program, and CHF clinic. She is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning through the organization of content in AGACNP specialty tracks and developing active learning instructional activities, including case studies and simulation technology.
