John E. Taylor holds the Frederick Law Olmsted Professorship at Georgia Tech, where he serves as Associate Chair for Faculty Development Research Innovation. His research focuses on the dynamics of human-engineered networks, examining how these systems can merge effectively to create livable and healthy communities. Taylor, an entrepreneur and former project manager, has a rich background in higher education, having taught at Virginia Tech as a dean’s faculty fellow in the College of Engineering and as a Preston and Catharine White fellow in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies.
