Abraham Bell is a Professor at the School of Law at the University of San Diego, where he has been part of the faculty since 2009. He holds a Doctorate in Juridical Sciences (SJD) from Harvard University obtained in 2004, a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Chicago in 1993, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the same university in 1989. His areas of expertise include Trademark Law, Property, Land Use Planning, Copyright Law, Intellectual Property, and Real Estate Transactions. Professor Bell has significant professional experience, having clerked for Justice Mishael Cheshin of the Supreme Court of Israel and served in the Israeli State Attorney’s office. He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Connecticut Law School and Fordham University Law School and was a member of the Faculty of Law at Bar Ilan University. Additionally, he served as an editor for the University of Chicago Law Review and received the Mulroy Prize for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy, as well as being named an Alon Fellow by the Israeli Council for Higher Education in 2006. His scholarly work covers vital areas of law, with notable publications appearing in prestigious law reviews.
