Neishay Ayub, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She serves as the Epilepsy Fellowship Program Director and is the Neurology Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Officer. Dr. Ayub's clinical research interests encompass Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Global Health, and Quality Improvement in Epilepsy Surgery. She has completed her medical degree at the Warren Alpert Medical School and holds extensive training, including an internal medicine residency at Rhode Island Hospital and a neurology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard University. Additionally, Dr. Ayub completed a neurophysiology epilepsy fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and is board-certified in Neurology, Epilepsy, and Clinical Neurophysiology. She is active in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and contributes to committees focused on diversity initiatives. Dr. Ayub has been recognized with several awards, including the Dean's Excellence Teaching Award and the Neurology Faculty Teaching Award, underscoring her commitment to education and mentoring in the academic environment.
