Biography

Michael R. Wagner is a Professor at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington, specializing in Operations Management. He holds a PhD, MEng, and BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. With extensive experience in academia, he has been part of the University of Washington since 2012 and has previously worked at Saint Mary's College of California and California State University, East Bay. Wagner's research interests include crowdsourcing, machine learning, operations management, operations research, and optimization. His contributions to the field have been recognized through various awards, including the Meritorious Service Award from Manufacturing & Service Operations Management and the Urban Transportation Outstanding Paper Award from the INFORMS Transportation Science Logistics Society.
