Biography

Michael Kelly is a Professor at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he has taught since 1988. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan in 1983, a Master of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1980, and a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Michigan in 1975. Professor Kelly has significant expertise in contracts and family law, having clerked for the Honorable Daniel Friedman at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His scholarly work includes multiple editions of 'Principles of Remedies Law' published by West Academic Publishing, along with 'Remedies: Contemporary Approach' and contributions to various legal publications. He previously served as articles administrative editor for the Michigan Law Review, and his work reflects a comprehensive understanding of contemporary legal issues in remedies and contracts.
