Jennifer Binkley is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of the Family Court Clinic (FCC) at the University of Wisconsin Law School. She leads the clinic, which is part of the Economic Justice Institute, offering legal services in divorce, paternity, child placement, custody cases, and other family law matters. Students in the clinic provide limited legal services or assist in complex family law litigation. Jennifer is the author of 'Wisconsin Family Law Forms,' a comprehensive textbook on Wisconsin family law. In April 2025, she co-authored an article in the Wisconsin Lawyer about Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Jennifer has also held the position of Chair of the Dane County Bar Association’s Delivery of Legal Services Committee, where she has worked since 2004 to develop and coordinate pro bono projects and training opportunities for attorneys, earning awards for her service. Additionally, she holds a Counsel position with Community Justice, Inc., where she has served as Guardian ad Litem for vulnerable children and adults. Jennifer has received multiple honors, including being named a Leader in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2007 and recognized as the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2023. She also volunteers her time assisting pro se litigants at various legal assistance centers.
