Sayan Bhattacharyya is a Lecturer in the Humanities Program at Yale University and an Associate Research Scholar in Digital Humanities. With a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the same institution, he combines knowledge from multiple disciplines. His academic journey includes teaching at the Singapore University of Technology and Design and holding a postdoctoral position at the University of Pennsylvania since joining in 2018. He is passionate about transdisciplinary approaches merging humanities and computational disciplines, focusing on the tropes and patterns that create connections between the two fields. His recent contributions to edited volumes include work published by the University of Minnesota Press, notably in 'Global Debates in Digital Humanities' and 'Digital Black Atlantic'.
