Biography

Srikanth Kolluru earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Bangalore University, a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jadavpur University. He completed post-doctoral training at the University of Minnesota and has decades of experience in pharmaceutical education, research, and academic leadership. Dr. Kolluru has held prominent positions including interim dean at Keck Graduate Institute School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where he spearheaded curriculum development and faculty mentorship initiatives. A recipient of numerous teaching awards, he has published extensively in medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and drug design. His research focuses on drug discovery, particularly HIV integrase inhibitors, and he leads international collaborations to improve therapeutic strategies for viral infections and cancer. Committed to educational innovation, Dr. Kolluru integrates technology in the classroom and mentors faculty and students while advancing diversity and inclusion in academic settings. He is a member of professional organizations including Rho Chi, Phi Lambda Sigma, and Phi Delta Chi.
