Biography

Professor Harold Hodes received his PhD from Harvard in 1977 and joined the faculty at Cornell University in 1979. He was also a Mellon Fellow at the Sage School in 1977. His specializations include Logic, Philosophy of Logic, Foundations of Mathematics, and Philosophy of Mathematics. He has competencies in Philosophy of Language, Decision Theory, and History of 20th Century Philosophy, contributing significantly to these areas through rigorous research and teaching.
