Atefeh Rabiee earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Kharazmi University, a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Azad University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southern Denmark. She completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Copenhagen and was a visiting postdoctoral research scholar at Stanford University Medical School. Dr. Rabiee's research interests focus on disease biology, specifically the mechanisms underlying human diseases, metabolism, and fat disorders. She is an active member of organizations such as the American Diabetes Association and the American Physiological Society and serves as an advisor for the Pacific’s Rho Chi Society. Additionally, Dr. Rabiee is committed to fostering a student-centered learning environment, believing that the academic success of her students reflects the values of the university. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and biking, cherishing moments spent with her daughters.
